Ratings Committee Member
NCOA North Basketball is seeking experienced, detail-oriented officials to join our Ratings Committee. Working directly under the CDC Chairman, you'll play a key role in maintaining and raising the standard of officiating across our association by evaluating officials on their performance.
In this role, you'll observe games — either in person at the gym or online through game film — and assess how officials perform on the court. Using our web-based evaluation system, you'll rate each official across our established criteria, including floor mechanics, rules knowledge, communication, professionalism, and play calling, providing fair, consistent, and constructive assessments that help officials grow.
This is a great fit for a seasoned official with strong rules knowledge and a sharp eye for mechanics and game management. Objectivity, consistency, and discretion are essential, since your evaluations directly influence officials' development and advancement. You'll work alongside the CDC Chairman and fellow committee members to make sure ratings are applied uniformly and fairly across the group.
You'll work on a flexible schedule, fitting observations around the game calendar, and submit all ratings through our online system for the committee's review. If you have deep officiating experience, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to developing the next generation of officials, we'd welcome your interest in serving on the Ratings Committee.
