We’ve just added a new set of courses built to get you game-ready and focused on play calling and mechanics for the upcoming season. Get ahead now, before the whistle blows.
Here’s a secret to officiating basketball: great calls start with recognition. The more plays you’ve seen, the faster you read them live and the sharper your play calling becomes. Familiarity is the edge.
To help you build it, we’ve put together a video series from a former north California basketball official who went on to become a content creator. It’s film study made simple: watch, recognize, and carry it onto the court.
Just log in and head to Courses to get started.
One note: these are Non-CIF courses, so you won’t earn CIF hours for watching. What you will get is a real advantage every time you step on the floor.
**This also includes a great video of "How to use Arbiter Sports" by our first year program instructor, James Frazee.
